How to Install a SiteSweep Shopify Theme

Before you begin

You need a Shopify store, the SITESWEEP delivery ZIP and access to Online Store → Themes. Keep the original delivery bundle as your backup.

1. Open the delivery bundle

The outer ZIP contains:

  • the Shopify-upload ZIP;
  • this installation guide;
  • the theme license;
  • version and support notes.

Do not upload the outer delivery bundle to Shopify. Upload the inner file named SITESWEEP_[TIER]_Shopify_Theme_v1.0.0.zip.

2. Upload to Shopify

  1. In Shopify Admin, open Online Store → Themes.
  2. Choose Add theme → Upload zip file.
  3. Select the inner theme ZIP.
  4. Wait until Shopify finishes processing it.
  5. Do not publish yet; select Customize first.

3. Configure your brand

  1. Add your logo and favicon.
  2. Set colors, typography and spacing.
  3. Configure header navigation and announcement text.
  4. Replace every original concept placeholder with your own licensed media.
  5. Choose collections and products for featured sections.
  6. Configure newsletter, waitlist and drop dates.
  7. Review footer links, contact details and legal pages.

4. Configure commerce

  1. Add product variants, inventory, price and tax settings.
  2. Activate the payment methods you actually accept.
  3. Set shipping markets and rates for physical clothing products.
  4. Test cart drawer, discount codes and checkout.
  5. Connect required apps through supported integrations and retest.

5. Quality check

Preview at minimum:

  • 390 and 430 px phones;
  • 768 and 1024 px tablet widths;
  • 1366 and 1440 px desktop widths.

Test home, collection, product, search, cart, password page, newsletter, keyboard navigation and a complete test order. Check the store with reduced-motion enabled and with slow mobile network simulation.

6. Publish

When the preview, payments, taxes, policies, domain and test order are correct, choose Publish. Keep the previous live theme unpublished as a rollback until launch is confirmed.
